Scallop Bordered Baby Blanket With a Curvaceous New Twist!
Tired of the same old designs? I was.
I decided to come up with something new and totally unique! A blanket with curves and ruffles! Who says a blanket needs to be squared? I love the simplicity of this design and how it is worked, it was such a joy to work on while creating this pattern!
You can do this design with or without the border, the border design is included in this pattern file.
We also included a before and after washing, drying and shrinking photo as the ruffles in this design become more pronounced with it having been shrunk in the wash and dryer.
This design will give you a nicely oversized baby blanket that can be cuddled, dragged and slept with!
Fully written out easy to read pattern, a great pattern for those who have trouble reading patterns that are abbreviated!
I myself am unable to understand abbreviated patterns so I've created all my crochet patterns with that in mind for those who have trouble like I do.
I hope you enjoy and have fun stitching this blankie up like I did!

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and was adopted at 2 years old. I now have a wonderful and loving husband and many, many fur babies (and a couple scaly and a few finned and feathered). I've never been one to conform to what most people would call normal, but I try my best to have fun and enjoy what I do always! I am a tom girl and a girly girl all rolled up into one....why should everyone ...

I love to play in the dirt and be outside. Mud always washes off!)
I have been doing embroidery, cross stitch, quilting and all sorts of crafty things since I was 7 years old. I am now 31 (2011) and needed to do something that I enjoyed doing for once, so my business here was born! I love to cross stitch and quilt the most I would imagine out of all the things that I do (and I do many LOL) and what better way to combine my two loves of stitching!
My business is my way of putting my stamp on the world, in my own way of course! I hope everyone enjoys stitching my charts as much as I did creating them!
How will you put your stamp on the world? ;)
