Pattern Description:

The Easy Breezy Beanie / Beret is the perfect hat for warmer weather, but not too cool for the colder months. This hat is very easy to make and requires knowledge of only the most basic crochet stitches so it is a great pattern for those who are new to crochet. And since they work up so fast (under an hour for the average crocheter), you will want to make these for every occasion! They make great baby shower gifts, birthday gifts, charity hats or make them to sell for profit! Instructions are included for making the hat in a regular beanie style or beret style.

Skill level: Easy

Pattern includes 6 sizes from newborn to adult (head circumferences from 12-24") and includes the butterfly appliqu pattern.

This hat can be made with any bulky weight yarn.

Patterns are easy to follow and are explained in simple terms so even those new to crochet should be able to read and understand them with ease.

  • Adult Large - 22-24" head circumference


  • Up to 100g bulky weight (#5) yarn in color of your choice
  • Small amount of any weight yarn in 2 colors of choice for butterfly
