NOTE: This listing is for the collar only. The collar completes the Sailor Dress, and makes it even more maritime, so cute with the red bow!
Sophie(tm)s dress is blue with white stripes, it would be beautiful the other way around too! The white collar is delicate and pretty on a white dress, or you can make the collar blue, with white stripes!
The collar is large enough to pull over the head, and is closed by the ends with the bow.
The dress is made to wear with - or without the collar. With the collar on, the buttoned front is turned to the back-side, to expose the stripes only.
The dress is pretty as is, but with the red bowed collar on, the princess looks just adorable!

Sophie and Me is a small home business with modest production of Pdf crochet patterns for toddlers and women.
As you probably have guessed, Sophie is my manikin, my dress doll! She is about 3 years old, and has become indispensable in my work with crochet patterns, as there is not a toddler in sight in my neighborhood! She is a perfect child, always available, never cries and don't have to be fed! My husband worries now and then, catching me in talking to her!
I'm Norwegian, living outside Rome for the last years with my Italian husband, and I love it! After a long working life I finally I have time and peace in my mind to craft, create, experiment and design.
I grew up in a small village where my parents by need daily used their skills in all kind of crafts. My mother taught me how to sew, knit and crochet, among other housely things. My father taught me how to fish, climb a mountain, and set tiles, do carpentry, paint and anything else you need to know about building a house.
My education made me a fashion designer, but but I have always worked with interior.
Now I create quality crochet, knitting and other patterns, childrens clothing, jewelry, buttons and paper craft.
