I was so excited! I was going to Europe for the Christmas Festivals! This is an event that happens all over Europe starting in November. The town squares are full of open stalls full of handmade and incredible gifts from every possible craft or skill imaginable. Now I needed a purse that I could use as a carry on, keep my electronic gadgets in, my money, e book, and use it as I was shopping to put the smaller items in and keep track of all my stuff. I really needed a multi purpose bag of the perfect sort that would do anything and go anywhere. Weather resistant and really tough but still look good. I did mine in brown fisherman's wool. This one is a jazzed up version. The idea is for this to become your ideal bag with lots of options to put on or leave off. Very simple to do and lasts years!
No guage as this is a felted item

I started crocheting when I was about 8 years old. I remember my grandmother was very religious and stood by the standard of no work on Sundays. I was caught designing a dress for a doll and got in serious trouble because to her it was work. To me it was fun! Serious difference of opinion there! I have been designing and crocheting since then, I picked up sewing at 10. My first project was a pair of pants that I sewed the fronts together and the backs together instead of a front to a back. Very awkward, but I finally figured it out! Now I make and design most of my own clothes in either medium and often put the two together to create something special.View all patterns by designer (10) »
