This simple yet pretty scarf works up fast and will dress up any outfit. From row 3 until the edging the pattern is a one row repeat that is easy to memorize. Also, because there is hardly any counting it is the perfect project to work on while watching a movie.
The pattern calls for 1 1/2 skeins of Knit Picks Gloss Sock yarn, but the pattern is flexible enough for you to experiment with your favorite yarns. To show off the pretty scallop edging blocking is recommended.
The finished scarf measures 48" across the top, and 34" along the sides, but because the scarf is worked from the top center outward the pattern is flexible enough for you to make any size including a full size shawl. Pattern includes written instructions as well as a chart.
8 sc and 8 rows = 5 cm (2") square with a 5.50 mm crochet hook.
