What a beauty this hat is! Change the color and you have a hat for any fashion need. Make a basic hat....and with a change of ribbon or sash you have a totally different look! I work hard to make my patterns easy. This pattern has a tutorial with great pictures and instructions, making it easy enough for a beginner. Of course I am never far from the computer, so I am always here to help you along if needed. I used Caron Simply soft, but any 4-ply yarn will do. This pattern is written in American Standard terms, and sized for preemie thru toddler, and even up to 7yrs. I have a friend who uses a larger hook and extra rows to achieve an adult size hat, but I haven't tested that one enough for a written pattern yet.
D/3/3.25mm=preemie thru 3 months F/5/3.75mm= 6 months thru 12 months Gauge 4"w=10dc; 3"h=5 rows H/8/5MM - 12mo through 7yr Gauge 4"w=8dc; 3"h=4rows

I am a happy mother of 5 children, who refused to buy the ordinary, when I knew I could make the extraordinary.
I started my journey in creating, when my grandmother taught me to crochet as a little girl. Then when I became pregnant with my third child I started sewing, and I have been making and creating ever since.
