Basic Skills Necessary:

• Pattern is written using standard US stitches.
• sl st = slip stitch
• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• magic circle/adjustable ring See attached tutorial.
• hdc spike stitch = hdc worked in indicated row below then drawn up to the level of the working row.
• inv hdc dec = Invisible half double crochet decrease. Yarn over, insert hook through front loop of first stitch. Insert hook through front loop of second stitch. Yarn over and pull through two loops. Yarn over and pull through all three loops on hook.
• sc dec = Single crochet decrease. Insert hook under both loops of first stitch. Pull through a loop. Insert hook under both loops of second stitch, pull through a loop. Yarn over and pull through all three loops on hook.
