It uses worsted medium weight yarn and a G6/4.00mm crochet hook.

It is a combination of single crochet, double crochet and treble crochet. Large print and pictures. As long as you have basic crochet skills, I think you will be surprised at how easily this works up.

You get four sizes: .
Newborn - 12" (fits up to 13.5")
0-6 mos. - 14" (fits up to 15.5")
6-12 mos.- 16" (fits up to 17.5")
1-4 year - 18" (fits up to 19.5")

Gauge:

With G/6 hook, 14dc = 4 inches

Vanna's Choice Acrylic Yarn in Duckie, 3.5 ounces
Crochet Hook Size G/6 (4.00 mm)

You Will Also Need:

1 1/2" ribbon - 24" plus the circumference of the hat

Great pattern, easy to follow, size turns out right. Can adapt with other hat patterns. Added the flower from Spring Bloom Beanie pattern.
