It uses worsted medium weight yarn and a H8/5.00mm crochet hook.

It is a combination of single crochetand double crochet. Large print and pictures. As long as you have basic crochet skills, I think you will be surprised at how easily this works up.

You get four sizes:
Newborn - 12" (fits up to 13.5")
0-6 mos. - 14" (fits up to 15.5")
6-12 mos.- 16" (fits up to 17.5")
1-4 year - 18" (fits up to 19.5")

With H/8 hook, 13dc and 7 rows = 4 inches
