It uses worsted weight yarn and a H8/5.00 mm crochet hook.

It uses single crochet Large print and pictures. As long as you have basic crochet skills, I think you will be surprised at how easily this works up.

You get four sizes:
Newborn - 12"(30.48cm) - fits up to 13.5"(34.29cm)
0-6 mos. - 14"(35.56cm) - fits up to 15.5"(39.37cm)
6-12 mos - 16"(40.64cm) - fits up to 17.5"(44.45cm)
Toddler - 18"(45.72cm) - fits up to 19.5"(49.53cm)

Gauge:

With H/8(5.00m) hook, 16sc and 16 rows = 4 inches
