Pattern Description:

*ORIGINAL DESIGN*

Newborn - 3 Months
13" - 14" hat circumference,
appx 9" body cover length

Pattern Key
Ch: Chain
Sl st: Slip stitch
Sts: Stitches / St: Stitch
Sc: Single crochet
Dc: Double crochet
DC 2 TOG: Double Crochet 2 Together

Note: This pattern is written in three sections; one for the hat and cover (which is worked in one piece together), one for the snail shell (which is worked in two pieces, then fastened together), and the last section will show how to stuff and fasten the snail shell to the body cover piece, and make and attach the antennae. Please note that color changes are not incorporated specifically in this pattern, even if example pictures are shown in multi-colored designs - however - you may add color changes at your discretion using your favorite techniques.

Gauge:

3 dc stitches = 1", 1.75 dc rows = 1"

Newborn - 3 Months 13" - 14" hat circumference, appx 9" body cover length

1 handful of fiberfill (to stuff the shell)
Yarn: Weight 4 (Medium worsted-weight)
