- You should already have basic crochet skills, ie. single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet. You will also need to know how to make a magic ring to start the hat, which is SUPER easy. If you don't know how to make one, just check YouTube, that's where I learned :) Type it in their search bar and you'll get a ton of videos.
Pattern Description:
I love creating beautiful items for newborn photography. I sell my hats and patterns to new moms and newborn photographers. The babies that wear them get so many compliments on these unique hats. The best part? The flowers are interchangeable, so you're not locked into one look! Make as many flowers as you want to create the perfect accessory for the little girl in your life.
Gauge:
Approximately 5 stiches to an inch.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Your hat will measure approximately 12 - 13 inches circumference, and approximately 5 inches height. This will fit a newborn head, sized 13 to 15 inches circumference. It should actually fit to approximately 3 months of age, so you'll get lots of use from it!
Materials:
- One skein of Bernat Softee Baby will get you about 10 of these hats! I use Caron Simply Soft for the flowers. You'll get tons of flowers out of one skein. Size G crochet hook, and one button in 19mm size (3/4 inch).
