I recently fell in love with crocheting things. Especially bags and baby hat. And lo and behold, I came up with this cute little cloche, perfect for that new baby of yours (or a great gift, too!). This hat takes about an hour and a half to two hours to crochet in total. It is in a shell stitch, which gives it such a nice texture. The crochet rose adds a nice final touch for this cute hat.
And if you desire a bigger hat, upping the hook size to a size H and using a medium, 4 weight yarn makes a 3mo - 6mo size baby cloche.
The pattern is written in American crochet terms.
No specific gauge, just not TOO tight.
100 yards of DK weight

Hello! My name is Devon Finney and I am the owner and operator of WyandotteWears! I was born in Joplin, Missouri and grew up in the countryside of Northeastern Oklahoma, outside the small town of Wyandotte, Oklahoma (hence the shop name "WyandotteWears"). In early 2013, I moved to Live Oak, Florida and married my long time fiancé, Joseph.
I feel so blessed to be able to share my talents with the world through the internet. I have always had a love for making things, and as I've grown older it has turned into a passion for designing, sewing and crocheting.
When I'm not sewing or crocheting, I enjoy spending time with my husband, gardening, going cowboy boot shopping, and cooking!
