I came across a hat on Pinterest a few months ago that was knit and it fascinated me. I loved it, but I don't knit very well. I'm still trying to learn. But I decided that I could recreate it in crochet. This pattern is the result.
This hat works really well for all seasons and is great as a chemo cap. That was part of my inspiration for this hat. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and lives in Houston. She would have to have a hat but needed something that was soft and breathable. That is why the cotton yarn is recommended. Besides I Love This Cotton, Knit Picks Comfy and Knit Picks Shine are good for a summery hat. Caron Simply Soft is also a recommended yarn.
