When my mom tried to teach herself how to crochet using a guide for beginners I was fascinated. I begged her to teach me all that she learned, so at the age of seven I picked up my first crochet hook. Since then I have enjoyed the craft immensely. You can find me working away at a new project almost as soon as I have completed the old one. I have dabbled a little in designing my own patterns and feel such a sense of pride when I see the projects of others that have been made using one of my pattern designs.View all patterns by designer (8) »
This is a very warm piece for head and neck-wear all combined into one. I designed this as a gift for my mother, who had been asking for a combination hat and scarf all in one.
If you prefer a hood that has a more fitted (rounded) top, then this pattern is for you. The hood sits nicely on your head and the scarf wraps around to secure it in place. Made all in one piece with no sewing involved.
Any worsted weight fiber should work nicely for this pattern.
Please keep in mind that worsted weight fiber is recommended for this pattern. Results will vary depending on yarn weight and hook size.
