This hat and scarf set is so much fun to make! The easy-to-follow pattern includes instructions to make three sizes of the hat and the scarf. Stitch counts are provided at the end of each row for ease of use. Written in American English according to Yarn Council standards and guidelines.

Gauge:

7 clusters and 7 1/2 rows = 4 in.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Hat Sizes: Adult/Teen (finished circum. = approx. 21 in.; crown to brim = approx. 8 1/4 in.); Child (finished circum. = approx. 18 in.; crown to brim = approx. 7 1/4 in.); Toddler (finished circum. = approx. 17 in.; crown to brim = approx. 6 3/4 in.)
  • Scarf Sizes: Adult/Teen (finished length = approx. 583/4 in. without fringe, 68 in. with fringe; 6 in. wide); Child (finished length = approx. 411/2 in. without fringe, 50 in. with fringe; 51/4 in. wide); Toddler (finished length = approx. 28 in. without fringe, 36 in. with fringe; 4 in. wide)

Materials:

  • Three to five colors of worsted-weight yarn (approx 1 skein each)
  • H hook
