Pattern Description:

This pattern came about when I misread the directions for a different stitch. I loved the way it turned out, and had several people inquire about it so I decided to write it out. It creates a nice finished project that looks much more complicated than it is.

Gauge:

Gauge isn't important. Simply adjusted your yarn and hook or starting chain to get your desired width and length.

Materials:

300+ yards yarn

I have made several scarves of varying widths with this pattern. It's so simple yet the results are impressive. You can easily make a scarf in an afternoon with this pattern.

I enjoyed making the scarf, but I am certain I did something wrong because this is how my scarf turned out. I will try this again and hopefully I can get closer to the pictured result. I'm not even sure what I did wrong.

This was so easy and so quick. I had a little challenge with the first row, but after that, it was probably the quickest easiest stash buster I've ever seen. One skein of yarn and this scarf was done. No counting of rows, no needing to keep track of where in the pattern. It really could not be simpler.
