Wrist Wraps:
Here is my Ode to Autumn. From the warm but delicate pattern, to the rich colorway and wool blend. When I picked up a skein of Amazing yarn by Lion Brand, I knew that I needed to create something special that would show off all the changes and texture this yarn has to offer. The patterns is completely adaptable. It includes 2 written sets of instructions; one for thin yarn and one for thick yarn. It also includes a stitch diagram and plenty of tips too. My daughter plays Mellophone and French horn in the band, I'm hoping that she'll get to show off her wraps this season as she proudly plays her music. Enjoy!
HAT:
I have very thick hair and a large head. I wanted a hat that had plenty of room for my thick hair but didn't feel tight around my face. This hat is roomy around the crown but still stays put.
The stripes are achieved by switching yarn colors at the beginning of desired rows. The red and blue hat shown was made alternating I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. I used a light yellow (almost cream), deep red and deep marine blue. The effect is an antique patriotic theme that I really like. Enjoy!

I was 3. It was the most beautiful mud pie, complete with rose petal decos and perfectly dusted with pollen. This was my first "craft."
