Pattern Description:

A very easy project that can be completedly in an hour or two! The yarn used here is Paton's SWS, a soy-wool blend.

This pattern is inspired both by the the Irish crocheted shamrock motifs that have appeared in crocheted edgings, appliques and embellishments since the turn of the century and by the current popularity of simple lariats. I've simplified the shamrock instructions to make for a more updated (and easier to create) result.

7.25% sales tax added for Texas residents.

Materials:

  • approximately 4-6 oz.of any medium weight yarn.
  • a size G crochet hook (English size 7 or metric size 4.25cm)
  • But any combination of yarn size and hook will work!
