Pattern Description:

I am so excited about this pattern. I love the design, and have been inspired to add a new dimension to my patterns. "GAUGE AS YOU GO"!!! This pattern has individual sizes, from preemie thruough 5t, and there are measurements throughout each size, so that you know if you are on track to get the size you want!!! It will be so easy to tell if you need to add a row for length, or if you would like to add an increase row.

The buttons are easy to find online, and with a color change, you have a whole new look.

I have also added a picture tutorial at the end of the pattern, showing you how to make a pull tie bow.

Gauge:

Main pattern rows of dc, ch1, dc, ch1) 4"w=7 dc, ch1 sequences; 3"h=6 rows = H/8/5MM
4"w=6 dc, ch1 sequences; 3 1/2"h=5rows = I/9-5.5MM
3 1/2"W= 5 DC, CH1 SEQUENCES; 3"H=5 ROWS= J/10/6.00MM

Premmie thru 5t, with measurements as you go!

Materials:

Any 4-ply yarn of choice. I used Red Heart Super Saver, and Caron Simply Soft
Depending on size of hat, you will need crochet hook will vary

You Will Also Need:

Boys hat, 5 buttons
Girls Hat 4 buttons, and approx. 6" of 1 1/2" wide grosgrain ribbon
