I made this bag for my niece's fifth birthday, and it is perfect for a little girl just starting to emulate Mommy and carry a purse. Only 6 inches round, it is big enough to hold a few little treasures. Made out of cotton, it can be washed in case of accidents - a critical concern with children. Because it takes less than one skein of yarn, it's a great stash buster, and something you can knock out in a couple of hours as a quick gift for you own special little girl. Or dress it up with a elegant glittery yarn, and it can double as an evening bag to hold cab fare and a lipstick for Mom.
6 rounds = 4 inch circle

She could do it all from sewing to tatting, crochet, knitting, embroidery. I learned to knit when I was about 6 or 7 and just never stopped learning new crafts and techniques."
