The idea of a prayer shawl is to create a garment with a repeatable pattern that doesn't require a lot of focus. This way while crocheting, prayers, good thoughts and healing energy can be "fused" into the shawl to help the wearer heal--whatever the trouble may be!
This prayer shawl has been made in honor of my friend Lisa, breast cancer survivor. Please note $2 from each purchase of this pattern will be donated to Casting For Recovery. For more information, go to http://www.castingforrecovery.org.
Gauge: 10 sc and 12 rows = 4" (10cm) using K-10.5 (6.5mm)
I have been crocheting, spinning, felting, and knitting for a number of years now and just have a passion for it! You can find my patterns at Patternfish.com and Ravelry.com. I am a Professional member of the CGOA and live in Rockaway, New Jersey with my husband Glenn and my cockatiel Mendelssohn.
