I love old turn-of-the-century crochet patterns. I adapted this scarf from a lace pattern I found in a 1912 publication titled 'A Book of Edgings for Pillow Slips, Dresser Covers, Towels and Dress Trimmings.' If you have ever tried to follow a very old crochet pattern you know that deciphering the instructions can be very confusing. My version is much easier to understand and to make. Although it looks complicated, my pattern is very simple to make - if you can make single and double crochet stitches, you can make this scarf.
The multicolored pink yarn used in the scarf pictured is Paton's SWS.

My grandmother taught me to crochet as a tween and I've been doing it off and on ever since. Esy to understand and easy to make - that is my goal for ALL my patterns. You have permission to sell whatever you make will ALL of my patterns! My patterns can also be found in Ravelry at ww.ravelry.com/stores/timary-peterson-designs and in my Etsy store at www.etsy.com/shop/timaryart.
