I love old turn-of-the-century crochet patterns. I adapted this scarf from an edging pattern in a 1917 publication titled 'Corticelli Lessons in Crochet Book No. 2.' If you have ever tried to follow a very old crochet pattern you know that deciphering the instructions can be very confusing. My version is much easier to understand and to make. Although it looks complicated, this scarf is very easy to make - it uses a thick yarn and a large hook and can comfortably be completed in an evening!

My grandmother taught me to crochet as a tween and I've been doing it off and on ever since. Esy to understand and easy to make - that is my goal for ALL my patterns. You have permission to sell whatever you make will ALL of my patterns!
