I have started this project 3 times. Every time I get to step 6 the front of the bootie works out to be on the side. Not sure why this keeps happening. I ended up working the 14 sc and then the (sk 1 st dc into next st) ??? Any one know why this could be happening?
Hello Crystal! Thank you for reaching out to me with this question!First, please be sure to follow the photo tutorial in conjunction with the written directions; they will be quite helpful! If your toe is not aligned, it's most likely due to where you are joining, or where you are placing your first and last stitches of the round. After the sole of the shoe is formed, your sc rounds begin with a ch 1 as your first stitch, that ch 1 will occupy the first stitch of the round, making your seam slant diagonally to the left. If it's not slanted to the left, then take a second look at the directions for stitch placement ;)Thank you for trusting me with your business, and for reaching out to me for support!Salena
