Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You will need to know chains, slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet and picot stitches.

Pattern Description:

I love this scarf - it can be worn so many ways! It is approximately 55 inches (140 cms) in circumference and 11 inches (28 cms) wide. It is long enough to wrap around your neck twice and still have enough left over to cover your head and ears. You can let it hang to the full length - and not worry about it slipping off since it it just a big loop!

It is made in a continuous circle with a twist in the middle (think mobius strip). The yarn I used for the model is listed as worsted weight; I'd consider it a light worsted - more like a DK. But you can make the scarf in a heavier weight yarn - it will just be a bit bigger and thicker.

Gauge:

17 sc & 18 sc rows = 4 inches (10 cms)
