Pattern Description:

Lightweight and airy crescent shape shawlette, needs only one skein of yarn. Lacy texture gives a mild drape and it can be weared as a scarf or kerchief. You can use thicker yarn (in this case you(tm)ll need more than one skein), and it turns a big cozy shawl that keep you warm and remind of sunshine in cold winter days.

Sample shown in self-colored wool, pattern has instructions when to change colors if you use leftovers.

16 stitches and 9 rows = 4 inches in double crochet

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished size 115x44 cm (45x17.5)

Materials:

  • Light fingering weight yarn, about 540 yards (500 meters) in 100 grams. One skein self-colored or small amounts of white and different shades of yellow: light lemon, honey, deep yellow. Terracotta and brown for last 3 rows.

You Will Also Need:

  • 3.5 mm (E) hook
  • Dressmaker pins
  • Tapestry needle and scissors
