I named this fast & easy shawl for my friend, hobobird, who is a wonderful friend, a great supporter of my designs, & is addicted to shawls. It's a triangle shawl with bat-wings so the shawl sits on your shoulders & stays put.
It's made from the top down, and you can use any weight yarn & crochet until you feel it's big enough. Because the edging is so simple, it's easy to make sure you use all of your yarn, without having lots of leftovers! This pattern is rated advanced beginner - intermediate.
This pattern is not currently charted.
Thanks to redcurlysue, vibeskat, kaz, hobobird, & harnish408 for their test crocheting skills, and thanks to and thanks to Susan Moskwa (http://rogueedits.com) for her wonderful tech editing skills.

My name is Anastacia, and I am the scrap yarn/one skein queen. I buy my yarn mainly at yard sales/thrift stores, so I got used to making do with what I could find. So most of my patterns are designed to use up the odd skeins or leftovers in your life, and are geared towards beginner crocheters or those who just want a fast, easy, but still pretty item.
I'm a 30 something adult living in MA. I’m married, have a wonderful cat named Wedgie, & I work full time. I also teach knitting & crocheting at my local Michael's & squeeze in designing as many hours as I can a week.
I do love to hear from everyone, but please remember that I am busy, just like you, & will reply as soon as I can.
All of my patterns use USA terms & abbreviations.
I try to layout my patterns as simply as possible to save money for people printing at home. My patterns are as short as possible, usually with only one photo on the first page, which you can easily skip printing to save ink.
