Those who have tried my designs will know that I love creating simple designs that look very effective, after all life doesn't need to be complicated! And I understand that many people like a bit of television or music knitting/crochet, so the easier they are the better it is to enjoy the world around you whilst enjoying your craft.

I designed this scarf originally for a workshop last year.
It uses a hexagonal motif with crossed stitches which create texture, and give it its name!
The pattern shows how to make the scarf, but the hexagon can be made into a scarf, cowl, shawl or anything you like. It is designed especially for The Natural Dye Studio's Angelus 4 ply yarn, which is incredibly soft.
The scarf I made measures 37cm (15") wide by 180cm (71") long when blocked.
It can be adapted to any weight of yarn provided you use a suitable hook size.
It is written in English and US terms and is charted
400 yards of Fingering weight
