Pattern Description:
My pet Hamster is called Henrietta and she is so cute that I just had to make a key chain of her. By changing the colors it is easy to make the pattern look like your own Pet. Much more unique than a photograph and a brilliant present for any pet lover.
Due to small parts the finished key chain is not suitable for young children.
Gauge:
Gauge is not important for this project
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- The finished Hamster key chain is 3" 3/4 inches high including the key ring, 1" 1/2 inches wide and 2" 1/2 inches deep.
Materials:
- 100% Acrylic Light Worsted (DK) yarn in Light Brown, Pale Pink and White. 25g balls will be plenty.
- 3.5mm (E-4) crochet hook
- stuffing
- 1" split ring
- embroidery thread in Cream and Black
- 2 x 3mm Black beads for the eyes

When I had been crocheting for a little while I had made so many amigurumi that I was looking for something different. I came up with the idea of making key chains as I like to make something that is useful. My first design was Sammy the Sheep and it has evolved from there. I love crocheting and making amigurumi has always been a favourite of mine. I love creating each personality and its always fun seeing them come to life at the end of my hook!
