My name is Kara and I am a crochet blogger, designer, and instructor. My blog, Petals to Picots (http://www.petalstopicots.com), is a celebration of crochet and other fiber arts. It is filled with helpful information and tutorials, gorgeous photography and inspiration, and boasts over 75 free crochet patterns (and counting!).
I first learned to crochet from my grandmother when I was 9 years old. I have over 30 years crochet experience and recently graduated from the CGOA Masters of Advanced Stitches & Techniques program. I strive to provide unique, accurate, and easy to follow patterns.
When I'm not designing or teaching classes at my local yarn store, I am taking care of my husband and three children in our New Jersey home.
This stylish hat is worked with a band accent and can be embellished with a bow or flower. The easy-to-follow pattern includes instructions to make the hat, along with instructions to make the flower and bow. Stitch counts are provided at the end of each row for ease of use.
