This scarf will surely add freshness to any wardrobe regardless of the seasonusing pastel shades in summer and fine yarn will give it a delicate look, whilst, in winter the bold or darker colors and heavier yarn will give it a cozier look. A year round winner!


First motif = 3.5" (9 cm) [Lace: 2.5" (6.5 cm)],
measuring along V-sts.
Gauge is not critical for this design.

  • Option 1: Fingering weight (#1 Super fine). Omega Perle (100% cotton; 178 yd [163 m]/1.76 oz [50 g]): 2 balls of #528 light green
  • Option 2: Lace weight (#0 Lace). Katia Syros (45% polyester, 28% cotton, 27% acrylic; 306 yd [280 m]/1.75 oz [50 g]): 1 ball of #70 white.
  • Size C/2 (2.75 mm) [Lace: Size B/1 (2.25 mm)] crochet hook

You Will Also Need:

  • One 1" (2.5 cm) in diameter plastic ring
  • Two 0.25" (6 mm) decorative beads (shown: Crafting beads by Horizon item # JC11760-123)
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
