Pattern Description:

These stylish fingerless mitts will keep your hands toasty on cold days but won't restrict the use of your fingers as regular gloves tend to do. Wear them to play in the snow with the kids or to keep you warm in that chilly office.

Gauge:

13 sts and 11 rows = 4 in. (10cm) in hdc.
Although helpful, the gauge is not that important as long as the CUFF RIBBING is the right circumference, you can add or subtract ROUNDS for a longer or shorter glove as well. This will change with stitch counts at the end of each row.
If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a small size hook; if more stitches and rows, try a larger hook.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • SMALL: 7.5" - 7.75" Forearm Circumference
  • (MEDIUM): 8" - 8.25" Forearm Circumference
  • (LARGE): 8.5" - 8.75" Forearm Circumference
  • (X-LARGE): 9" - 9.25" Forearm Circumference
  • Sizing is based on forearm circumference and is easily customizable by adding or subtracting ROWS from the CUFF RIBBING. The rest of the pattern will conform properly.

Materials:

  • (I) 5.55mm hook
  • Stitch marker (small piece of yarn)

Suggested yarn:

130 yards of Worsted weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:
