Beginner
This pattern is reminiscent of a Victorian era design and works perfectly for a steampunk look; shell stitches, picots, and mesh. They could also be perfect for a spring or summer garden party (or even a wedding!) when made with a white or pastel color cotton yarn; or make them in wool and colors to complement your winter coat on days when you need a bit of extra warmth for your hands.
This pattern may look intricate & complicated, but it's just a step or two above a beginner level. It's easily customized if you'd like a shorter length - simply leave off 1 or more of the design sections on the arm section.
