Even if you're a beginner you can crochet something besides a potholder (not that there is anything wrong with potholders!).
This simple shrug is just a rectangle. Yes - a rectangle! It's a perfect summer accessory to add a little pizzazz to your favorite tank top dress.
It works up very quickly - you may be tempted to make several in different colors so you'll always look very 'put together'!
Super easy, quick pattern - no abbreviations; everything is written out for you. A great project if you're just learning to read crochet patterns.
Ribbing: 8 stitches & 5 rows = 2 inches
Body of Shrug: 4 double crochet/3 chains & 3 rows = 2 inches
Crocheting is my crafty passion - passed on to me by my grandmother. :-)
