I love making hats for babies. I have a very large family and all the new babies inspire me. This hat is so simple to make. Once you get the hang of making these, they can usually be made very quickly. All the kids in my family got hats as a gift last Christmas.
This pattern is easy for beginners. It can be in two different sizes (either 0-3 months or 3-6 months). There are also quite a few photos to help demonstrate the pattern design.
I hope you enjoy making this hat. It is so versatile and can be made in many different color combinations.

I love to crochet.... even the hot Texas weather doesn't stop me from making hats and scarves in the summertime! I decided to start writing patterns for my favorite designs so I can pass them down to other family members (if someone else would just learn how to crochet). I hope you enjoy making my pattern items. I try to make things as simple as possible.
Happy Hooking!!
