Pattern Description:

The all new Deer / Elk Hat and Cover Set is the perfect photography prop! The hat can be made without the eyes, snout and nose if you want. The antlers work up fairly quickly and there is no stitching involved piecing the antlers together. There are detailed pictures included that show how to create the antlers.

{ P A T T E R N I N F O }

- Instructions for a beanie in 3 sizes;
- Instructions for adding earflaps and ties;
- 2 styles of ears;
- 2 styles of antlers;
- Instructions for eyes;
- Instructions for both snout and nose;


Gauge is included in the pattern.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Beanie: Newborn, 1 to 3 Months, 3 to 6 Months
  • Cover: Newborn to 2 Months, 2 to 6 Months


  • #4 (worsted weight/10-ply) yarn
  • measuring tape
  • yarn needle
  • F (3.75), G (4mm), H (5mm), I (5.5mm), J (6mm) crochet hooks

  • buttons (optional - for eyes)
