This hat was inspired by my daughter when she was a baby. I wanted to create a hat that would be beautiful, but warm enough for the winter months. One that would look lovely with a dress, but could be worn with a winter jacket. A hat that would keep her head, ears and neck warm without being bulky, but could still be worn in the spring and fall. And it HAD to have a flower and come in all sizes! I love the look of the vintage cloche and thought it would be the perfect solution. I added a flower pattern and instructions for ways to play with the color or add original touches. This hat is one of my favorites and my daughter's as well!
This pattern is very easy - even for beginners! It works up quickly and can be made in a variety of colors and could be embellished in a variety of ways. There is no limit to what you can create with this lovely pattern!
Pattern includes 6 sizes from newborn to adult (head circumferences from 12-24").
