Pattern Description:

This my the first pattern inspired by my Baby Rainbow. I want him or her to have beautiful colors to wear, in return for all the joy she or he is already bringing into my life!

The crocodile stitch featured in these booties is much easier to crochet than it looks!

An intermediate crocheter or even a dedicated beginner will master this stitch in no time at all. This is a fun to work piece that will impress without stress.

Pattern comes in sizes: 0 - 6 months and 6 - 12 months

* Hook size - D (3.25 mm)
* Yarn weight - Fingering (Superfine 1)
* Yarn amount - Approx. 200 yards (50 g)
* 6 size 1/2" (12 mm) buttons
Yarn brand and colorway located in PDF pattern

The pattern includes a PHOTO TUTORIAL with many pictures showing the pattern in more details.

Excellent love it!  June 2, 2013

This is my second and third pair of booties I made (same pattern, different yarn and colors)

The pink and white one is made with must smaller yarn, so I used the two color at once and I made the 6 to 12 months size one. I had to add some rows in the body part so it was the same height. The result with this size of yarn is a much smaller bootie, even if I used the 6 to 12 months pattern. It is the good size for a newborn baby.

The multi-color one is a 0 to 6 month pattern ...

Excellent Beautiful little booties  May 22, 2013

I absolutely love this pattern! It took me a little while to get the hang of the crocodile stitch, but I have mastered creating the exquisite booties really well with lots of commissions for them.
They fit really well, though do require a tie (length of wool weaved through the posts and tied with a bow at the front or back) to keep them on baby's feet.

Excellent Love!  February 15, 2013

I purchased this pattern through Ravelry about a year ago, and since then, 'I've made at least 8 pairs. Each time I make a pair, someone sees them and commissions another. It is a very well-written pattern, which isn't always easy to come by. I don't hesitate to purchase patterns from Bonite Patterns because I always know I'll be able to create something lovely. :)
