I wouldn't say this is a hard pattern to follow, but it is not a pattern for beginners.

1-2 skeins of medium weight yarn. I used Hobby Lobby's I love this yarn. But you can use any medium weight yarn. I also like Red Heart yarn for these too.
H Hook / 5.00MM
Yarn Needle for weaving in ends.
AMOUNTS OF YARN USED
Please remember the amount of yarn used will vary, but this will give you an idea.
For the fingerless gloves: 5 ounces, 142 gms, 252 yards or 230 meters.
For the mittens: 10 ounces, 284 gms, 504 yards or 460 meters.
Ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
sk st = skip a stitch
st(s) = stitch(es)
sc2tog = single crochet 2 together
bpdc= back post double crochet
fpdc= front post double crochet
tbl= through the back loop
4x4 inch = 17 sc x 15 rows
