Pattern Description:

Here is the fourth in a series of earrings. You will need to know the listed skills to use these instructions. If you feel unsure about your ability, I suggest you purchase Crocheted Wire and Bead Earrings: One. The directions are very detailed and will assist you as you need for this project. I refer to the first pattern's step numbers throughout this pattern.

Also included is a materials chart and corresponding pictures for twelve variations on this loop earring, the pictured round pearl earring being one of them.

Gauge:

3-1/2 stitches per inch for J hook variations
5 stitches per inch for G hook variations
7 stitches per inch for 00 hook variations

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The earrings demonstrated in this pattern are 2" long and 1-1/4" wide. The sizes of the variations included in this pattern are located in a chart, along with the necessary materials.

Materials:

  • 12 feet of 26g silver-plated wire (ParaWire)
  • 40-5mm white Swarovski pearls (or any 4, 5 or 6mm beads)
  • 2 silver-plated french ear wires
  • 2 rubber ear wire stops
  • size J (6mm) crochet hook
  • chain nose or flat nose pliers
  • round nose pliers
  • flush wire cutters
  • masking or Scotch tape

You Will Also Need:

  • Some of the variations require either 28 or 30g wire, 3 or 4mm beads, and a G or 00 hook.
