Crocheted Moroccan Cuff

from Little Treasures
(4) Name: 'Crocheting : Crocheted Moroccan Cuff

Crocheted Moroccan Cuff
Crocheted Moroccan Cuff
Crocheted Moroccan Cuff

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • To make these cuffs you need to know the basic crochet stitches:chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), 3dc puff stitch

Pattern Description:

I was inspired to make this lovely and eye-catching cuff by the exotic and mystical Morocco. I hope you like it too.

Skill level: beginner / easy
Yarn and hook: For this project I used sport yarn and recommended hooks. Check your yarn label - it gives recommended hook sizes.

You can use whatever yarn you like, but bear in mind that it will affect the size of your project. If you need more information regarding yarn sizes, this could be very helpful (http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/?q=weight.html)

Measurement: My wrist measures 15 cm / 5.9" while the finished cuff is 17 cm / 6.7" in length and 4.5 cm / 1.8" in width. The length of the cuff makes a comfortable wear, tending towards snug but not tight.

Other: glass/plastic beads, sewing thread, sewing needle, tapestry needle

Used terms: chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), 3dc puff stitch
