I designed this scarf after having some leftover Homespun yarn and ruffle yarn after making my knit wrap pattern. I have also discovered that many of the new ruffle type of yarns coordinate will with the Homespun yarn by Lion.
This scarf is a very fun accessory that will add interest to any plain shirt or jacket. It is crocheted with a size K hook so it goes fairly quickly. I use the foundation crochet method as a base chain to make it drape nicely. The foundation crochet instuctions are given at the end of my pattern. You can also start with a normal chain if you don't want to do the foundation method.
The ruffle yarn is added only on the one edge of the scarf. The ruffle part is approx. 2in. wide so the Homespun part is only about 3in. wide.
The pattern is 4 pages long and includes 2 smaller color photos.
