This is my first pattern and still my most popular where I sell on Folksy and Etsy. I just love the shell pattern and I wanted a lovely lacy fingerless glove. After knitting a pair in the round to a pattern, I realised it would be even easier in crochet as crochet is perfect for working in the round. I just made it up as I went along and I seem to have come up with an inspired pattern that looks good and is quite easy to do. Maybe not for the complete beginner but if you have basic skills in crochet then you should find this quick and fun to work up.
Please note this pattern uses English names for crochet stitches but I also include US names in brackets after every stitch notation.
20 trebles (double crochet in) to 10cm or 4" with a 4mm hook.

Hi, I'm a crocheter and knitter knut living in London with my husband, 3 kids and two cats. I love to create new designs as well as interpreting printed ones. I never stand still and as soon as I've worked out how to make one thing I can't wait to explore the next project. I do spend time and care over my patterns and revise them if I feel they need it. I never stand still and as soon as I've worked out how to make one thing I can't wait to explore the next project. I do spend time and care over my patterns and revise them if I feel they need it. All of them are written with as much detail as I can and some include pictures of the steps. My feedback from customers has all said that they found the patterns clear and easy to use.
