Calling all Ghost World fans! Make your own crochet Catwoman mask and you can play at being Enid. Also great for being Catwoman for Halloween or other dress-up occasions. Eternally adaptable, the pattern could also be used to make a Batman mask.
A simple pattern which can easily be made up over a couple of evenings while watching your favorite films. This is also a great stash-buster pattern as it uses less than one 50g ball of DK yarn.
No complex stitches or techniques are required; just single, double and half-double crochet stitches worked in the round. The pattern is written in US stitch terminology.
10x10cm (4x4in): 28 st - 36 rows
131 yards of DK weight

I live in East London in the iconic Balfron Tower as part of an artists' Live/Work scheme run by the Bow Arts Trust. I've written two books which are in the early stages of publication. One is a collaborative craft book which I have co-authored and edited and the other is a novel about London subcultures. I also write book reviews for UK Handmade and articles on various topics that interest me about the crafting community and beyond.
