The photo for these slippers/booties is very attractive, which is why I purchased the instructions. I find that the instructions are very difficult to understand. I am an advanced crocheter and was able to figure it out (I think), but a beginner would have an impossible time figuring out what it means. For example, Round 1 says to do 2sc in st across last st of row 1. I feel it would be better if it said :2 sc in last stitch." For Round 3, 4 & 5 it says "2hc in next 3 st's hc in next st hc to end. First of all. What is hc? Is this supposed to be a half double crochet (hdc)? For a beginner who is just learning the terms, this could be confusing. Also, are you supposed to do 2 hdc in next 3 st's then hdc around to the first hdc, or do the hdc to the end of the first row, 2hdc at the end of the row, and hdc around to the first hdc? I hope I am making my questions clear. I am not a pattern writer. I rarely pay for a pattern and am sorry I paid for this one though it was only $2.50. I will certainly not be using this pattern and would appreciate a refund.
