Pattern Description:

All babies need cute, soft, and warm mittens to keep their precious little hands warm, while looking their best during the harsh winter months. You are welcome to make my Crochet Baby Mittens which are 100% acrylic material for both warmth and softness. A myriad of contrasting color patterns make these mittens blend well with the season, and match any winter outfit.

Gauge:

17 stitches and 14 rows = 4 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 0-6 months - Mitten measures 5" from cuff edge to tip; cuff is 1.5" long; body of mitten is 3.5" long by 2.75" wide.
  • 6-12 months - Mitten measures 5.5" from cuff edge to tip; cuff is 1.5" long; body of mitten is 4" long by 2.75" wide.

Materials:

  • F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook;
  • Three colors of Caron Simply Soft (100% acrylic 6 oz/170g; 315 yds/288m)

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle. Matching thread and needle. Braided polyester elastic (1/8 inches * 4 yards; white) - approx. 10-12''
