Pattern Description:

Here is a lovely crochet pattern for a warm hooded scarf or convertible scarf cowl with stripes.

You can wear the scarf like a normal scarf, but you can also wear it as a hood. Or you could wrap it around your head so it'll become a very warm and thick cowl. The possibilities are endless! :)

The pattern difficulty is easy.
The pattern is written in full sentences using USA and UK crochet terms, there are no abbreviations used.

Materials:

  • --> You'll need a 10mm crochet needle. --> You'll need about 2000 meters or 2200 yards of yarn in total (bulky; 6 to 7mm thick yarn) to make this pattern. Or you could combine three worsted weight yarns instead of using one bulky one. For the stripes: 1000 meters / 1100 yards of color A, 1000 meters or 1100 yards of color B.
