Let's crochet a bag. Not a regular bag, but one that can go wherever we go and carry whatever we want to carry. Let's crochet it in an easy stitch and make sure the strap dimensions are adjustable so we can make it as long or as short as we'd like.
This bag is not only fun to see, but a great accessory you can crochet for anyone on your gift list. . . or maybe just for yourself. You deserve it!
Level: Beginner / Advanced Beginner
Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (any type)
This bag will cost you so little to make but be so useful for picnics, beach outings, shopping, hiking etc. Whatever you're doing, you can take this back along because it's the perfect size for all your goodies.

In 2002 I taught myself to crochet after I met my then fiance's grandmother. Not only did she crochets, but she knits, makes paper beads, quilts, paints and recycles everything that comes into her home. I figured if she could do all those things, then I had to be able to do at least one. Thus began my Yarn Obsession. My first project was a scarf for my fiance.
