Calypso is a lovely crocheted scarf and hat set that will work up quickly.
Choose 2 very different colors or 2 more mildly contrasting hues that will create a richly textured and colored set. The original model was crocheted from 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn by Creatively Dyed Yarns, but any fingering or sock weight would work.
This is a great gift or a wonderful treat for yourself.
Gauge:
5 dc = 1 inch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Scarf: 4 1/2" x 60"
- Hat: Average adult woman
Materials:
- 2 contrasting skeins of fingering or sock weight yarn - 510 yds each
- Size E crochet hook
- Large button for hat
